National Art Exhibits
The National Fine Arts Exhibit encourages artistic recognition of Club members ages 6 to 18 by displaying drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture at local and regional exhibits. A panel of distinguished judges selects works for inclusion in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, which is displayed the ensuing year at BGCA events, including the annual National Conference.

Maker Space - Fall 2023
This program will allow members any ages to create. Learning and then implementing craft techniques such as quilting, sewing, etching, bead making, and more members will have the opportunity to create their own “brands”. At the end of the 10 week program, members will hold a “crafts fair” to raise money to support the art department of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley.

Club Band - Winter 2023
This program will teach members grades 6th-12th the ins and outs of being in a band! The members bring the enthusiasm and we provide the instruments and teaching. They will learn music theory, production, and implementation all while creating close friendships with other band members. This program is first come first served with a max of 8 members.

Art Program - Fall 2023
Art can communicate information, shape our everyday lives, make a social statement and be enjoyed for aesthetic beauty. One of the best ways for your children to explore the world around them with all of their senses, developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in the process. Fine art projects usually include but are not limited to watercolor, crafts, and pastels. Projects are geared around members’ interests, passions, and hobbies. Through the art program, members are encouraged to display their creations among peers and improve upon their learned skills.
