The Ocean Institute and Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley Present

Sea Tech

Learn about how technology is used to study oceans, Build underwater robots and hydrophones, Create a website, Research whales and ”dive” into the deep sea, Attend the Summer Academy at the Ocean Institute, Go on awesome field trips, Get jobs and internships
Open to 8th and 9th graders, Weds. 4:00-6:00

Ultimate Oceans

Be a part of hands-on activities in art, technology and education and exciting field trips while learning about the ocean’s plants, animals, and habitats.
Open to 7-12 year olds. Fridays 4:00-5:30

Limited to first 40 members in each program!

Our Mission

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley is working to help youth of various backgrounds to develop the qualities necessary to become responsible citizens and leaders. Our club is facility-based and offers daily access to a broad range of programs in five core areas: Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.

Each year over 1,000 boys and girls from 11 surrounding communities within the Capistrano Valley take advantage of the programs, activities, and services provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley. Club members benefit from trained, caring professional staff and volunteers in a safe, affordable and positive place.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley offers a healthy mixture of programs utilizing national Boys & Girls Club curriculum in the social recreation, fine arts, athletics education and technology departments. Program highlights include SMART Moves, Ultimate Journey, Club Tech, Teen Career Launch, Cooking Class, Torch Club, Keystone Club, Intramural Athletic Leagues, Fine Arts, Sea Tech, Ultimate Oceans, and various Social Recreation activities.
