These programs are designed to address today's most pressing youth issues, teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life. From programs featuring countries around the world to cooking lessons, our club members are learning to be a well-rounded individual.

SMART Girls

All Ages

Thursdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

SMART Girls is a program designed to meet the developmental needs of girls in three age groups: 7-10, 11-12, and 13-18. Through dynamic sessions, these young women explore personal and social values as they collectively work towards building healthy life styles, positive self-worth, and healthy relationships.

Cooking Club

All ages

AV Branch

Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:00pm. Year-round

Cooking Club teaches members about the benefits of eating well and being physically active. Staff equip members with skills to adopt healthier habits by participating in fun and engaging learning activities at the Club and at home. Members make different snacks and meals at the club to share with their families at home.

Little Rascals

Ages 6-8 years old

Wednesdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

Little Rascals program is geared towards member’s ages 6 to 8 years old. Members participate in fun learning activities while developing social skills, character development and positive behaviors.

Acting Club

All Ages

Wednesdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

Acting Club is designed for members to discover and express their creativity through acting. Members from all ages work together to create a movie while learning written skills, acting skills and editing.

Healthy Habits

All Ages

Thursdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

Healthy Habits is the “Mind” component of Triple Play. An emphasis on eating smart and maintaining physical fitness is geared toward improving the overall well-being of Club members. Healthy Habits teaches members about the benefits of eating well and being physically active. Staff equip members with skills to adopt healthier habits by participating in fun and engaging learning activities at the Club and at home.

Lego Club

All ages

Fridays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

Busy Builders, a Lego building class, was held on Friday from 2:30pm-3:30pm. Members will build various items using Legos in the program. This week 15 members learned about diversity and the importance of other cultures. Members were asked to make a school. Members were judged in the areas of creativity, detail, structure, and originality.
