Reading Club Program

Elementary Kids

A one-on-one reading tutor program provided by the Parentis Foundation where elementary school aged children receive weekly help to attain grade level reading skills.

Power Hour

1st – 5th grade

PowerHour: Making Minutes Count helps Club members ages 6-18 achieve academic success by providing homework help, tutoring, and high-yield learning activities and encouraging members to become self-directed learners. 

Breakthrough Tutoring


Via Positiva Branch

Wednesdays & Thursdays 5:00 – 6:00pm. Year-round

Breakthrough tutoring is designed for breakthrough members to have access to weekly tutoring sessions that take place here at the Club. Breakthrough

The Lab Rats

Elementary Aged Members

Wednesdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

The Lab Rats is a program where members are able to take part hands on in different Science experiments. In this program, members will be able to gain how to develop positive relationships with others, learn that there are a variety of different science fields, learn how to conduct experiments, gain hands on experience with science, and have fun!

Spanish Club

Elementary & Middle School Members (ages 7-13 years old)

Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

The Spanish Club is a program that will bring the basics of the Spanish language to our members. Each week, members will get the chance to enhance their knowledge of the Spanish and practice speaking, reading, and writing in it.

Minecraft Club

Elementary Members (ages 7-11 years old)

Via Positiva Branch

Mondays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

The Minecraft Club is a program that will allow members the chance to use their creativity to construct a variety of projects. Each week, the members will have a new project to create such as roller coasters, buildings, and holiday theme structures.

Hour of Code

Elementary & Middle School Members (ages 7-13 years old)

Thursdays 4:00 – 5:00pm. Year-round

The Hour of Code program will introduce the members to the basics of block coding using the scratch program. Each week, the members will get a chance to work on different projects that will focus on a specific aspect of coding. Each member will work towards building their own project of their choosing by the end of the program.
