Why Donate?Our Current Teen Population is Underserved.
We can only serve 168 teens per year in our current facility. The new facility will enable us to serve five times as many teens! The more space we have, the more programs we can offer teens every year to help them stay on track.
Positive Programs.
We must offer innovative programs that build life and educational skills, enhance creativity and promote career opportunities.
Just a few of the planned programs include:
Media Center = DigiTech (movie making, photography)
Learning Center = College & Career Preparation
Fitness Center = Weight Room & Dance Studio
Kitchen = Health & Life Skills, Cooking Classes
Games Room = Positive Social Interaction
Program Management.
With facilities expansion, comes professional staff expansion. Our current staff of 14 full-time and 6 part-time employees, with the help of over 200 community volunteers, do an outstanding job. However as our ability to serve more members increases, so too will the need to employ additional paid staff to manage programs. That is why it is imperative that we retire any existing debt.
